This band is great. Check them out if you can.

Hey KMC Fans!

This Friday Kerry and The Element are playing at the Stadium View Bar in
Green Bay for a Rascal Flatts After Party. We are very excited for this and
would love for you to make a trip there to support us!

We are also headed back to The Mineshaft in Hartford this weekend on
Saturday! We packed the place last time we were there, so let’s make sure
they know that was no mistake! See you there!

John Daly's Wife in Custody

Friday, January 27th, 2006 by Fuzz

The wife of professional golfer, John Daly, was taken into custody on Wednesday for her conviction on federal charges of being part of a federal drug ring and being a part of an illegal gambling operation.

There are three good things that have come of this:

1.) A felon is now off the streets. Always a good thing.

2.) The headlines are hilarious!!! Here are some of my favorites:

Daly Irked Over Wife’s Arrest

Daly Shoots 69 Day After Wife Goes to Jail

Wife Jailed as Daly Plays

Daly’s Wife in Slammer

Wife’s Arrest Didn’t Stop Daly

and…

Daly Bitch Slaps His 4th Wife for Making Him Look Like an Even Bigger Ass

Okay, the last one was made up.

3.) Daly’s comments on this are hilarious! (from above sources)

It was like a bolt out of the blue…

It was very tacky on the prosecuting attorney’s part…

Usually, you get two or three weeks warning so you can at least get prepared…

and…

He’s not a very nice guy, anyway…

He added… “I know from experience.” j/k.

iTunes is on FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!

Friday, January 27th, 2006 by Claude

Did you see? iTunes is now selling Comedy Central and MTV shows in its Video section!

While you may have to put up with crap like Laguna Beach and My Super Sweet 16, you can download your favorite episodes of South Park and Beavis and Butthead. (Insert your Beavis voice here).

Hooked on a Feeling

Friday, January 27th, 2006 by Fuzz

With the recent passing of Chris Penn, I pulled out my old copy of the Reservoir Dogs soundtrack. That reminded me of this song… which in turn led me to show you this link: Hooked on a Feeling.

Just What We Need…

image Another on-line music store. (from Billboard.biz - subscription req.)

Bear Stearns financial analyst Robert Peck issued a research note predicting search giant Google will introduce an online music store to compete with iTunes, perhaps in the next three to six months.

I’ll stick with iTunes, thank you.

Uh… Concealed?

Friday, January 27th, 2006 by Fuzz

Last night, while I was watching “Beauty and the Geek” on the WB, there was a news teaser coming out of one of the commercial breaks. The tease was promoting a story about the state senate’s override of Governor Doyle’s veto on the recent concealed carry legislation. The promo said that Wisconsin was “one step closer to concealed carry.” Then they showed footage of hunting rifles.

Ummmm… good luck concealing your 30-06.

Wal*Mart May Offer Biometric Payments

Thursday, January 26th, 2006 by Fuzz

imageEngadget reports that Wal*Mart may soon offer biometric payment systems. For those who don't speak geek, it means that soon you may be able to pay for your goods by simply pressing your finger onto a fingerprint scanner. Your fingerprint will be linked to your credit card, and this will speed up the process of payments… and you won't ever accidentally grab your Piggly Wiggly card, and put it in your pocket thinking it's your debit card… not that I, or anybody else I know, has ever done that.

I don't know about you, but I don't think that I want to touch anything that has been touched by the bulk of the Wal*Mart shoppers that I have seen shopping there.

Hindsights II

This is a good, informative, and fun article. Read it.

A man's contribution to a pregnancy lasts about ten seconds--five if he told the truth--three if you asked the mother.

Hey!!!!

Thanks to Claude, again, for the lead.

Ugliest Woman in America

Thursday, January 26th, 2006 by Fuzz

Is Paris Hilton the ugliest, least-talented woman in America? I think so.

Some people might think that this picture is hot… I, on the other hand, think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Chris Penn: Dead

Wednesday, January 25th, 2006 by Fuzz

image Well, this sucks. I have never been a fan of Sean Penn, but my prayers are with the whole family today.

Actor Chris Penn, 40, was found dead Tuesday in his Santa Monica condominium, officials said. Authorities are investigating the cause of his death but said they do not suspect foul play.

Chris was in many movies including Reservoir Dogs and Starsky and Hutch. He was also the voice of one of the police officers in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Check out Chris Penn's IMDB listing.

Friendly Face

One of my new professors knows me. Well, she might not realize that she knows me, but I know that she does. Without saying who she is, or what class she teaches, I will tell you that I am happy to have her as one of my professors. See, she is a devout backer of Senator Glenn Grothman, and last year she was on one of his campaign radio commercials… a radio commercial that I produced. I don't think that I am going to tell her who I am, but it's refreshing to know that my professor shares the same values and principles that I do.

In the picture with Scott Walker, below, the young woman holding my daughter is actually my dad's step-daughter, not my girlfriend. I have had two comments on that recently, and I don't want anybody to think I'm “robbing the cradle.” Yikes!!!

Hey, Sweet!

Saturday, January 21st, 2006 by admin

I made “High Honors” at school for last semester. That's the first time EVER. Lucky me.

The next semester starts Monday. I am taking two on-campus classes and two online classes. I am looking forward to the fact that I will not have any writing-intensive classes this semester. Those were a lot of fun, but they were the biggest draw on already tight schedule.
