For anyone who has made a “big” mistake with computer technology.
I work at the University of Minnesota, today the entire eMail, voicemail and web servers are down, across the entire Twin Cities campuses.
There, now your mistake doesn’t seem so big, does it? =)
Carry on.

The Dixie Chicks’ new single “Not Ready to Make Nice” did well last week on the charts, but this week fell back four spots to number 40 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles charts. This probably means that a lot of radio stations that were hot to start playing them again, did so, and then received a rash of “I can’t believe you’re playing the Dixie Chicks” phone calls (or test results).
Proof again that what you do play CAN hurt you, and what you don’t play CAN’T.

This guy is either really drunk, or just plain old angry.
Note: pretty rough language.
Fuzz Martin’s first-ever idiot commenter. WTF, Mate?

It’s Friday. This has been a looooooooooooooong week (that went surprisingly fast). It’s funny how some bad shrimp can ruin a whole week, right? Well… at least I have the weekend.

Okay, there are only two states left that do NOT allow their citizens the right to carry a concealed weapon. Nebraska’s legislature just passed theirs, leaving Wisconsin and Illinois as only two states in the Union without “concealed carry’ legislation.
It’s ridiculous!

I am out today because I had a bad experience with some food… not sure what it was, but it apparently doesn’t like me. It’s “biting me back,” if you will. Ugh!

Forgive my absense yesterday. Though I am on spring break at school, my schedule has been tight… You know, I used to think that Mondays were easy, but Tuesdays were rough… I am starting to reconsider that thought… though Tuesdays are still the most boring day of the week.

My daughter and I went for a walk tonight. Along the way we came upon some kids playing basketball. In the driveway there was a radio that was blaring my radio station. I don’t normally think about the fact that people that I don’t know are actually out there, listening. I usually imagine that I’m talking to my friends, family, and acquaintances while I’m on the air… and really, I am.
I wouldn’t trade my job for the world. Thank you to all of you who listen and visit this site.

Earlier I told you that I was overcharged 10 dollars on my debit card at a recent trip to Arby’s in West Bend. I’m happy to report that I have received my money back, and a phone call from the West Bend Police Department informing me that they were charging the boy who “skimmed” me with a crime.
They won’t be serving delicious Arby’s roast beef sandwiches in jail, dick. Enjoy your stay.
Thank you to Arby’s for taking care of this quickly and for doing the right thing by getting the police involved. I will be sure to visit again.

Owen at Boots n Sabers has done some kick ass reporting on Scott Walkers concession from the gubernatorial race. If you have not read it yet… consider yourself uninformed.
On a side note… DAMN YOU WALKER!!!! Think of what we could have had together… but NO! You had to throw our chance away by being moral and actually caring about your party. That is so TYPICAL of you! Well… I guess this is goodbye…
…don’t turn around…
…just go…
…sigh

If you have ever pondered the thought of concealed carry, or self defense in general, you should read this article.
The demand by the radical pacifists and gun grabbers that we should accept brutalization and death at the hands of criminals and psychopaths for the sake of their notion of “safety” is irrational to the point of being demonic.

I don’t know if I have ever showed you the studio before. So, in case I haven’t, here is what I stare at every morning… well, at least most of it.

I went to Arby’s in West Bend on Monday for lunch. I used my debit card… got the # 3… it came to $6.85. Today, I went to balance my checkbook and found out that they actually charged me $16.85. So, now I have to go through the run-around trying to get my money back.
It’s funny how they can overcharge you in an instant, but it takes “a week to 10 days” for them to credit your account. Scam-errific!
Moral: Check your account balances… and your receipts!

Either censor it - or don’t! You can’t have it both ways!

My host company was performing some maintenance on the server today. If you couldn’t get on before — it was because the domains were being moved to a different ip.
Now you know… and knowing is half the battle.

I just got a spam e-mail from a “person” calling himself “Lomberto Gonzalez.” Its funny how sometimes the spammers try to use names that are big in the media, but alter them just enough to make them humerous.
