Fahrenheit 451

May 14th, 2006 by Claude

When I was in high school and college I really cheated myself in terms of literature that I read. Often, I would choose the shortest book on the required reading lists. Because of this, I have discovered that I missed out on a lot of great books.
Recently, I started to purchase “classic” and “modern classic” books to read. Last night I finished reading Fahrenheit 451. This is a great book, even more-so was the afterword written by Ray Bradbury about the “carving” of books/stories to make them fit into shorter publications.

Check it out, it is a great book about censorship and they way societies shift/change/think.

Stay tuned for more of my book postings, although they will be a while coming, as I am a slow reader :)
