Energy Drink Review: SoBe No Fear Gold

I like to expand my horizons and try new things. Often, it comes in the way of general monotany such as new flavors of pop, variety of music (thanks for the country stuff, Fuzz!), and most recently Energy Drinks.
I know Fuzz is a big fan of the Energy Drinks, too. In tribute to the coffee-free (yet caffinated Fuzz), here is my new segment on Energy Drinks, in short ED. 
This weekend I stopped at the gas station only to find they didn’t stock my favorite, RockStar. So, I went with something new. SoBe No Fear Gold. Having had the SoBe No Fear (regular), I was a little leary of this concoction. However, much better than it’s grand daddy, SoBe No Fear Gold has a nice taste. The initial smell is rather citrusy, the taste is a cross between a Mountain Dew/Grapefruit flavor, and the finish is easy with little after-taste.
I give SoBe No Fear Gold:

Oh… dude, no, I’m all about the coffee now. Still no meat, but I definitely drink the coffee.
I haven’t tried the SoBe NFG, but I will. Hopefully the NFG doesn’t stand for No F-ing Good.

ok I am not a fan of energy drinks but not so long ago I tried SOBE adrenaline the orange can I love the stuff! So ya now I’m hookeed check it out if you haven’t already

Whats wrong with Mt-Dew again? I don’t get any more energy from these things than I do from a leaded 20oz of Mt-dew. I don’t drink it that much anymore since I switched to Diet but if I need a sugar rush it does fine… These so called Energy drinks don’t do anything more than a Mt-Dew does…

Nothing is wrong with Moutain Dew, I drink it at work. I am glad to say I have gotten the entire programming staff hooked on Mt. Dew Live Wire! It’s really great.
Energy drinks are weekend treats for me
And remember, this is the whole “variety is the spice of life” thing I am doing.
