Lost: Season 3

Are all of you keeping up with Lost? I am sure many of you have lost faith in the show and are troubled because “not enough answers are being given”.
Bummer, cuz Season 3 is winding down and it is super-cool.
Desmond has got to have the craziest character-arc ever. I am looking forward to finding out what his back story is all about and who this mystery Portugese woman is who came to the island (apparently) in search of him. Perhaps sent by his old flame, Penny? We’ll see.
As always…I will answer any Lost questions to the best of my ability, so feel free to comment away!
I have been living spoiler free, so any further prognostications are purely speculative (click MORE to read my juicy predictions!)
Expect Locke to ask someone to kill Benjamin Linus (leader of The Others) because Ben is sick, and “killing” him on the island will cure his ills and he can come back to life, healthy…perhaps the way Locke did a la the plane crash? Hmmm?
We’ll probably find out that Jin was asked to kill a woman by his mobster father-in-law because his wife Sun was blackmailed by her…only to find out that the woman was his mother.
A major character will probably be killed off in the finale (it happens, deal). My chips are not on Charlie (as everyone speculates), but Sun. This would be great for the show because it would leave Jin to deal with being on an island full of people who he cannot communicate effectively with and perhaps some weird way, Sun will have given birth and he will have to deal with the baby, not knowing if it is his or not (I’m still betting on Sun’s love affair as producing this new island offspring). Oh, and I think Kate will be pregnant with Sawyer’s baby…done in a deal she made with Ben a long time ago at the beginning of Season 3 (remember Ben had her out on the beach for breakfast, saying he was going to make her a deal and she wouldn’t feel like a woman for the next couple of weeks? My guess is that he made her a deal that she could stay on the island ((not be rescued and go to jail in the main world)) if she seduced Sawyer and had sex with him to conceive a child). It’s all a part of their whole needing to have pregnant people on the island and populating the place.
