Energy Drink Review: SoBe Essential Energy - Orange

SoBe Essential Orange… it’s a “flavored energy juice drink.” Ah… the old “juice drink” routine. While the pomegranate version of this same drink only has 7% juice, I am pleased to say that the “orange drink” has a whopping 30%. That extra 23% helps it out slightly. But I don’t have a ton of good things to say about SoBe’s Essential line. It leaves a lot to be desired.
The good news is that I heard on some business news show, yesterday, that SoBe would be trying to revive the brand in the coming months. So, hopefully they won’t simply try to put lipstick on the pig that is their Essential line. If they just come out with a new can and don’t alter the ingredients at all, they’re going to wind up right where they are now…
…and that’s with a 3/10 ED Star rating:
