Energy Drink Reviews: Snake Eyes

August 7th, 2007 by Claude

Snake Eyes Energy DrinkOnly available at Holiday filling stations, Snake Eyes brings something to the table that most other energy drinks do not.  A plain can and empty taste.  The boring solid green can with a clever type treatment with “snake eyes” included makes this energy drink stand out from the crowd.  The initial smell of Snake Eyes Energy Drink is remeniscent of Red Bull…the follow through is flat and lifeless…there is nothing there!

I suppose, if you don’t like all of the energy drinks with a bite, maybe Snake Eyes is for you.  It’s not for me.  Although it is tastier than Sobe Essentials Pomegranite.

“Snake Eyes” reminds me of the old G.I. Joe ninja that I used to have. … “meeeemories, of the way things used to be…. scattered pic-tures…”

Yea, so I beg to differ… Personally, Red Bull is pretty sick and I find Snake Eyes a better selection for a few reasons which are as follows: Firstly, it has a better taste, not too sweet or rotten fruity bubblegum. secondly, it actually gives me energy (not just a rotten after taste). thirdly, i have never experienced a “crash” or low after drinking one. and lastly, it’s a way better deal for your money, 2 for $3 is pretty amazing for the amount you get in a can, whereas with a Red Bull you get a can with about a third as much, for the same price of two… I used to be a big Monster fan, but after drinking Snake Eyes they are way to sweet to go back to… Also, about the look of the can, although it may seem plain and boring, the bright green outside of it grabs your attention and makes it stand out from the plethora of other drinks… I think it’s good advertising

This is just my personal opinion, just thought Snake Eyes needed a positive shout out

I basicaly lived off this stuff all last summer- Driving, setting and firing shows, prepping, inventory… It kept me going through many 16 hour + days. I had a 55 gallon sack of the empty cans by the end of the summer, and my crew drank a lot of ‘em too. It works, it’s not sickeningly sweet, it’s “yellow” flavor, not “pink” flavored, and it’s cheap. It’s also addictive as far as we can tell. Downside: You better have access to a toilet if you slam a can. Profound laxative effect…

The best energy drink there is. 2 for $3 is great. Very addicting though. I wish they made one that was just pop with the same great taste, you know, with out all the additives. The stuff is probably not too good for you. It makes me shit. But it tastes great!!!
