Adobe Lightroom

August 20th, 2007 by Fuzz

Over the weekend I decided to mess around with a trial version of Adobe Lightroom. It is an amazingly fast way to make quick edits and color corrections on RAW photo files, and then export them to jpeg for my stock photo adventures. I think that I am in love. Seriously… if Lightroom was a woman, I’d be at Kessler’s right now looking at diamonds. Large, flawless, color-corrected diamonds.

On a somewhat similar note, but not really…if grocery stores were women, I’d be a) divorcing Pick N Save and starting to Wal-Mart SuperCenter or b) doing enough to keep Pick N Save around but secretly going to Wal-Mart SuperCenter.

This was the realization highlight moment of my weekend.

I don’t have the impression that Kessler’s is the place to go for flawless diamonds, just flashy ones.

As for grocery stores, now that Jewel has left the Milwaukee market, Lena’s is getting most of our business. One example, bulk Italian sausage: P&S, $2.99, Lena’s $0.99. You know they are both grinding their trimmings, so the only quality difference is that Lena’s meat isn’t stepped on with 15% brine solution by weight.
