[UPDATED] Word for Mac 2008: Nothing But Grief

Ph*cking Microsoft. I installed Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 and it is giving me nothing but problems. At first, when I went to save, the dang thing gave me the spinning ball of death. I figured out that it had something to do with the “save a preview” option. So, I unticked the check box for the preview and it was fine.

Then, I tried to “add a cover page” to my report. Same h*cking spinning ball of death that I got before. Mother effer.

Screw you Bill Gates. Thank God that I save my work like people in Milwaukee vote.

UPDATE: I dumped my plist file and repaired permissions and now it works like a charm. Booyah. Take that Bill Gates. You got served.

You should just use Google Docs and save yourself the hassle.

blah blah blah… Google Docs… blah blah blah… Open Office… blah blah blah… WordPerfect for Windows 95. Haha…

I prefer Word. It’s universal. And, when it works right - it’s good.

    Define universal…

Honestly I like word but lately I have found Openoffice to be just as good. But I do like google docs due to the way I can collaborate with some of the groups I belong to. We just released a 300 page white paper by writing our sections in google docs with 22 other people. Thats powerfull, I have done some of that work with word and it was a PITA!

Okay I’m done, yer on a mac can’t you just use iWhatever?
