How do you like using iStock? I have a few pics that I think could be stock worthy (maybe), but I don’t know if it’s worth getting into or not. Suggestions?

One: If you just have a few pictures that you think you want to sell, it may not be worth the time just to upload 5-10 photos and hope they sell lots…realistically, it won’t happen. It’s best to cultivate a large portfolio (over time) to make it worth-while and even slightly profitable.
Two: If you decide to shoot pics and participate in iStock for the fun of it, AWESOME! That’s the way to do it. But be forwarned, it can be quite addictive! (Ask Fuzz! I got him hooked a few years back and the guy is gung-ho!)

You’re gonna need a good camera. If you have a DSLR then you’ll be golden. If not, you probably won’t be able to get much accepted (unless you have mad photoshop skillz!).
If you have any questions at all, though, feel free to e-mail me. I’ll fill you in on the details and tell you all the nuances of iStock. Like Claude said… it’s a lot of fun!

I’ve got a Canon PowerShot A720 IS. I love it
I haven’t gotten around to playing with Photoshop yet. One of these days. Not that I need to learn more things, I’m in enough trouble with what I know already
