This afternoon, my always-bouncy, never-stop-running, three-almost-four-year-old daughter climbed up onto my chest and fell asleep for almost two hours. It was the best Father’s Day ever. I hope yours was good, too.

It was a good day.
I was shocked at how over-loaded the Father’s Day card section at Target was…on Saturday afternoon.

My daughter is 8 now and the days of her falling asleep in my lap are probably done. But, recently she was pretty sick with fever. She’s always preferred daddy to mommy when she’s sick and that hasn’t changed much. Well, on that day she crawled (not really) on to my lap and was soon asleep. It was great. So, I know how you feel.
Makes being a daddy cool.
