Roadie Hero

From the makers of Groupie Hero… haha…
Now I have a reason to run out and buy a PS3 or XBox360. Fuzz, Christmas is coming, what do you say? Lost: The Video Game, eh?

…as Halo 3 is released today. Very similar to when the Star Wars movies were released, expect for stories in the media to announce that hundreds of thousands of American (single male) workers called in sick today due to the release of Halo 3.
While I do not own an XBox or XBox 360, I can tell you that having only played the original Halo for 30 minutes, the game kicks ass.
This is just too friggin’ sweet! I am not a big “gamer.” In fact, I own an xbox, but the last time I played it was over 6 months ago, and that was only because I was trying to entertain Tracy’s son. I may, however, be in the market for Guitar Hero for Mac. If you’ve never played Guitar Hero, you totally don’t know what you’ve been missing. Hell, my MOM and her boyfriend bought a Playstation II just so that they could play GH! Yeah… it’s that cool.
Remember that when Christmas comes, friends. ![]()

It looks like Nintendo has attracted a new audience for their new video game system, Wii. Senior citizens have begun to play video games using Wii’s motion sensitive controller, which allows players to act-out the motions in the games they play. Bowling, tennis, and other such physical activities are favorites of people everywhere, but most seniors cannot enjoy these activities they once did. A 10 pound bowling ball isn’t easy to throw around, but using Wii’s controllers, now everyone can enjoy these activities.
Padadigm shift in progress. Watch for new game titles targeting this audience!

If you are a fan of skateboarding games, run out to Target and look for Tony Hawk’s Project 8. Target has a special packaging (left over from Christmas) which includes the game and a skateboard deck! The great thing is that the game/deck combo has been clearanced down to $22 (Originally $90)! PS2 and Xbox versions available. And, yes, I bought one ![]()
I don’t often get a lot of time to myself. Sometimes when I have time, though, I like to play a little XBox. I’m mostly into sports games: Madden Football, Baseball, or Hockey.
Well, I was delighted to see that Madden ‘07 comes out on Monday. I might buy it, even though I will probably only get to play it a dozen or so times before Madden ‘08 comes out.
Here’s where the pay-per-view tie-in comes in… I was watching SportsCenter this morning, and I saw a commercial for Madden ‘07. This wasn’t a commercial for the actual game itself, though, it was a commercial for the new “Inside Madden NFL” ESPN pay-per-view show. IT COSTS $19.95 to watch a SHOW about VIDEO GAMES!!!! That is just friggin’ nuts!
What is more friggin’ nuts is that they wouldn’t put these things up for sale if they didn’t know that PEOPLE WOULD BUY THEM!
Now this is what I call Border Patrol. I think the game is funny, yet their depiction of the American flag is disturbing.
Fuzz takes you to school on the Playstation 2… err 3.

So…I didn’t realize that there is this urban legend about Atari’s ET video game, circa 1982.
Click the link, read about it…then enjoy watching this funny music video about it.
That game really did blow. Almost as much as Raiders of the Lost Ark.
