Shepard Fairey re-covers the classics

WOW! Is all I can say. I have been collecting Shepard’s art for several years now (and admiring it for at least the last 10)…it’s great to see him in this arena.

Shepard was just recently asked to illustrate the cover of two literary classics by George Orwell -Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm. Barack Obama Supports Vandalism

In a personal letter from Barack Obama to ~~vandal~~ artist Shepard Fairey, Barack writes, “Your images have a profound effect on people, whether seen in a gallery or on a stop sign. I am privileged to be a part of your artwork and proud to have your support. I wish you continued success and creativity.”
